Dear Ridge Families,

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all back for the 2024-25 school year. I hope you had the chance to spend quality time with family and friends this summer and are feeling refreshed for the new school year. Last year was a great success, and we're dedicated to making this year even better!

As a father of three, I completely understand the nervousness and apprehension that can sometimes accompany the start of a new school year. I truly appreciate the trust you place in us as staff to ensure that your children have a safe, comforting, and inclusive learning environment that helps them reach their full potential. To help ease your concerns, I want you to know that during the first few days, there will be extra faculty in the hallways to guide your child to their classrooms. Our teachers will also be there to warmly welcome everyone as they begin this new adventure!

As a team, we strive to meet your expectations and, most importantly, to meet the needs of your children so that they can learn and grow as individuals. Your confidence in our ability to do this does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.

There will be many events throughout the school year. Our PTA is an integral part of the school community and works tirelessly to provide opportunities and build connections for our students both in and outside of the school. To that end, the PTA is always looking for volunteers to contribute their time towards building a strong relationship between school and community through the organization of school-based events. I highly encourage you and your family to participate in these events and hope that you will take an active role in supporting the PTA as well!

I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge all of the hard work that goes into preparing a school building for opening day. Special thanks to our custodial staff, office team, PTA, teachers, and support staff for ensuring that the building and our programs are ready for all of your children. It is truly a collaborative effort, and our staff embody our leadership principles of "Everyone...Every Day" and "Team First." I am extremely grateful and proud of the team and the amazing work they do for our kids!
